Why I decided to create this blog

I have long wanted to create a quiet and peaceful place – a kind of place of power where I could discuss various topics – from psychology and healthy lifestyles to life hacks for learning English and unusual clever secrets of proper nutrition. And since I used to travel a lot around the world, and more recently in England, I also wanted to share many noteworthy unusual sights and often unexpected discoveries I made on these trips. In general, I have accumulated a fair amount of interesting and fascinating information, which is constantly being added to, so my blog promises to be not only very curious and informative, but also captivating and intriguing at the same time.

Just yesterday, 2025 came to an end — a rather difficult year for all of us, and with its end, my previous story, if not to say epic, with my two Facebook groups also came to an end. I regularly published articles on various topics there, and in September I tried posting reels mixed with mini-videos, which almost immediately began to gain a considerable number of views. For the first couple of months, I was more than satisfied with these figures, but then I realised that I needed to increase my reach and that a certain amount of payment was inevitable. I was not opposed to such an experiment, and that’s when the most unimaginable thing happened.

When I attempted to pay for the promotion of one of my videos, it was at that very moment that something terrible happened, or so it seemed at first glance: both of my groups were blocked. Coincidence? I don’t think so. A sign? Definitely!

Having recovered from the initial shock caused by what seemed at first glance to be a blatantly unfair event, I began to reflect on the situation and quickly came to the conclusion that everything happens for the best, and especially in this case. To be honest, Facebook didn’t really have any features that I needed, and in general, I was limited in every way there — literally tied hand and foot. The last straw was the endless fuss over likes — a separate sore subject for many, if not all. And the saddest thing is that no matter how many views or likes you have, there will always be someone who has more than you.

In general, the topic of constantly comparing yourself to others, on which the entire basis of social networks is built, is quite painful and even, to some extent, deadly. But this conversation is a topic for a separate article, so we won’t get distracted by it now. I will just add that I am sincerely grateful for my invaluable experience of running two fairly popular Facebook pages at once, and I regard this experience as a kind of educational challenge. As they say, I forgive and let go of my past, and long live a new fruitful future!

This will be a unique space for reading – sometimes thoughtful and calm, sometimes enchanting and exciting, but always with a pleasant aftertaste of meaningful reflection. The formats of the texts, as well as their length, will vary, because this blog is a great way for me to learn, experiment in every way possible, and at the same time systematise all my accumulated knowledge and impressions. It is really important to me that my blog remains a calm and powerful place, with maximum emphasis on depth and content. I hope that my essays and notes will be useful to you as well.

Happy New Year 2026, dear friends! May this year be an opportunity for all of us to set a new course — one that is more conscious, calm, and honest with ourselves. I suggest we start this journey right now.
