Inspired by the most extraordinary video I posted in our group, I decided to look at the benefits of chicken eggs today, and as we all know, there are quite a few.
For example, in terms of composition, this product is a rich source of many components that are essential for the body, namely folic acid, biotin, calcium, selenium and phosphorus, as well as Omega-3 and vitamins A, B12, E and K. Choline is very beneficial for our nervous system, and lutein is a powerful antioxidant that supports the entire body. But eggs contain more than just these components; they also provide a good amount of iron, iodine, potassium, manganese and phosphorus. It is no surprise that athletes are very fond of them, as chicken eggs are an irreplaceable source of natural protein, which is necessary for optimal muscle growth. There is only one condition: fry them less, but boil them, add them raw to protein shakes, or bake them instead.
In fact, any fried food is harmful to the body. Any type of cooking – boiling, baking, stewing, simply chopping or blending – and there are many other methods too – will be much healthier than frying. Of course, I am not even talking about the extreme method of cooking – deep-frying in hot oil. That is where the most serious harm lies! But that is a whole other story. Even if you just fry eggs or potatoes in a pan, do not expect any particular health benefits from the end result. Quite the opposite, in fact.
But let us not get distracted. What else can be added? The fact that eggs are a kind of natural vitamin that should be consumed regularly, within reason, of course. After all, if we completely give them up, our body risks losing a valuable and, importantly, fairly simple source of minerals and trace elements. This can lead to a deficiency of these essential components in the body.
In short, experiment — poached eggs, soft-boiled eggs, steamed omelettes — any of these appetising dishes will not only delight your loved ones, but also provide all members of your family with a powerful boost of vitamins and trace elements. And this is extremely valuable, especially in these challenging times!
