Far-fetched illusions

Very often, people drown in their own illusions. What are these illusions about? They concern the idea that some people are higher in rank and others are lower. Some individuals immerse themselves so deeply in these illusory beliefs and look up to all these high-ranking individuals that their inner tension increases wildly, threatening to tear the person apart from within. Such a person constantly compares themselves to these unbearably “cool” people, constantly evaluating themselves and thinking that they will never reach their level.

All these relentless evaluations, comparisons, and evidence against them eventually begin to weigh heavily on the already fragile psyche of such an individual. But what does such a person need to understand in order to do good?

They need to realize that all these ranks are conditional and artificial, and that they do not reflect reality in any way. After all, every person is unique and irreplaceable, and from birth, each of us has a certain set of special qualities and talents, which certainly do not depend on whether one is born rich or not. Moreover, all these outwardly “cool” attributes are not a reflection of a person’s inner essence. Yes, it is always nice to have certain material advantages from birth, but clearly, the presence of these advantages is by no means a guarantee of intelligence or talent.

In general, today’s conclusion is this: don’t worry, let go of these concerns, and simply allow yourself to be yourself, and others to be themselves!
