🧩 These Wonderful Seaweeds!

There are a great many varieties of these aquatic plants – about 30,000, can you imagine? Red, brown and green are their main colours. Edible seaweed is a true superfood, as it contains countless beneficial components. Of course, there are far fewer edible varieties – only about 70 – but even this number is enough not only to reap the benefits, but also to enjoy these delicious and healthy plants. Even if we look at the colour spectrum, each colour is useful in its own way and has its own famous representative: red – nori, brown – kelp, green – sea grapes, blue-green – spirulina.

By the way, spirulina and chlorella are among the most famous “sea doctors”, and it is no coincidence that they are used to make vitamins of the same name, which are very beneficial, by the way. Nori seaweed is perfect for sushi and rolls, and it is often finely chopped and added to popular traditional Japanese soups. This is not only unusual and delicious, but also extremely healthy, making these magical plants a true must-have. Just look at the life expectancy of the Japanese and similar nations – it is not only long, but also associated with a high quality of life. And why is that? Because there are practically no unhealthy hamburgers or French fries in their diet, while seaweed, fish and seafood are consumed in abundance. So draw your own conclusions.

Done? Great! Now let’s go and get some seaweed!
